NFTE New England, housed at Babson College, has implemented innovative youth entrepreneurship education programs in Massachusetts since 1991. NFTE firmly established itself in Boston in 1997 through a partnership with the School to Career Office of Boston Public Schools. Programs were subsequently established in Springfield, Worcester, and New Bedford.

NFTE New England currently reaches over 800 students from low-income Massachusetts communities annually through the Massachusetts Youth Entrepreneurship Initiative. This is accomplished through partnerships with 19 high schools and community-based organizations (CBOs) in Boston, New Bedford, Worcester, and Springfield.
